More than 91 percent of Wellingtonians are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19 but there are still pockets of low coverage in some areas - particularly poorer neighbourhoods.
It's hoped the vaccine mandates that come in Friday will overcome reluctance for some.
However, front-line workers warn it will deepen the isolation for others.
