Motueka moves to a new traffic light system today - no, not THAT one, but the old -fashioned version with traffic and pedestrian signals.
The new system, a first for the South Island town, is part of a $6.8 million project funded through the government's Covid-19 Response and Recovery Fund.
Work began on it back in August, and the lights go on today.
Motueka Community Board chairman Brent Maru spoke to Susie Ferguson.
