Covid-19: Māori leaders call for inquiry into government reponse

Māori leaders are calling for an investigation into the government's pandemic response, which they say, is prejudiced against tangata whenua.

The Māori Council and other senior leaders have filed an application with the Waitangi Tribunal.

The claimants say the 90% vaccination target exposes Māori to life-threatening risks.

Peter Fraser is the National secretary of the New Zealand Māori Council.
