AstraZeneca jabs will soon be available, in what is being seen as another lever in the government's push to boost vaccination rates.
The double dose vaccine will provide an alternative for those who won't have the Pfizer shot for medical reasons, or who are opposed to taking the MRNA-based Pfizer option and are required to get vaccinated for their work.
Vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris believes introducing an option is a good move.
