NZ-bred horse Verry Elleegant has won the Melbourne Cup - and one of her owners is just seventeen.
Connor Harrison first met Verry Elleegant when he was helping out at racing stables near him home.
He's been at the mare's side for most of her life, and was gifted a share for his love for the horse.
Harrison spoke to Susie Ferguson.
