Health workers are going door to door in rural and remote parts of the Eastern Bay of Plenty in a bid to lift abysmal covid-19 vaccination rates in the region.
In parts of the region less than 40 percent of people are fully immunised and the entire Bay of Plenty is bottom of the national rankings in Maori vaccinations.
