Immigration officers admit that for three years they've held onto the passport of a woman now stuck in Afghanistan fearing for her life.
The woman is appealing to the Government for help on humanitarian grounds but it has turned her down.

RNZ requested a response from Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, but she passed the matter on to Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi, who had not responded as of late Monday.
