Eight people have died on New Zealand roads over the Labour Day long weekend.
On Sunday, a truck and motorcycle collided in Canterbury, killing the motorcyclist.
Two people also died on Saturday when two cars crashed on State Highway 1 near Dunedin.
On Friday night, another motorcyclist died after a crash near Christchurch.
The death toll is the same as last year.
