Covid-19: Australia opens borders for South Islanders, but few expected to travel

From Morning Report, 8:50 am on 18 October 2021

Business leaders say while quarantine-free travel for South Islanders to Australia is encouraging, it'll have little impact without the arrangement being a two-way street.

They'll still have to join the queues for MIQ to return to New Zealand.

Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce chief executive Leeann Watson spoke to Morning Report.
