Auckland is being told it's not vaccinated enough to relax restrictions but there are calls to reward the vaccinated with small freedoms.
Eighty-nine percent of eligible people in the city have now had at least one vaccination with the Super Saturday vaxathon that broke nationwide records.
It's so close to the magic 90 percent the Prime Minister has talked about for alert level changes today, but at the moment far fewer people than that are fully protected.
