Afghans in NZ plead for those back home not to be forgotten

Afghan people living in Aotearoa are pleading with the government not to forget about people with connections to New Zealand who are still stuck in Afghanistan.

There are concerns the people who didn't make it out when the Taliban swiftly took control in August will now be ignored, as the world's attention moves on.

A court bid to make sure the government keeps it promise to help, and to speed up the visa process, will be heard in the High Court in November.
