The Ministry of Health doesn't recognise Covid vaccines a person has received overseas, and they can't be added to a vaccination record.
It's understood hundreds of people have been in contact with the Ministry to have their overseas innoculations recognised here.
The Director General of Health says a system for verifying overseas vaccinations is being urgently worked up, ahead of a planned roll out of vaccine certificates.
