Health experts want more done to tackle meningococcal

It is feared that efforts to tackle a disease which can cause death and serious disability are falling short.

Meningococcal disease has been on the rise in New Zealand for several years - killing 10 people in 2019.

Health experts say there's not been enough effort to advertise a free vaccine that exists for some. They also want a widened eligibility.
