Huawei chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou arrived in home in China at the weekend - marking an end to her nearly three-year US extradition fight.
This came as two Canadians held in China for more than 1000 days returned home.
They were detained just days after Meng's arrest. While China has previously claimed the arrest and detention of the Canadians was not tied in any way to the proceedings against Meng, experts say this might lead to improved ties between China and the two western allies.
