One of the country's long-standing commercial construction firms will have about 1500 tradies back on the tools in Auckland today, under Alert Level 3 protocols.
Naylor Love chief executive Rick Herd says he is delighted staff and sub-contractors can return to the city's building sites, which account for 30 percent of the company's projects.
He told reporter Amy Williams fewer staff can be on site at a time, which means productivity will drop between 10 and 15 percent.
