While the government ponders what to do, some Aucklanders say they are prepared to stay in lockdown for longer if that's what's needed to keep everyone safe.
One of those is Sean Poimafisi who live in Manukau.
Poimafisi lives with his partner and three children.
He says the family has been coping fine with working and learning from home but their kids are missing their friends and being in the classroom. He's calling everyone to stay the course.
Chisana Heemi also has reservations.
Working as a customer service representative at night, Heemi is enjoying the family time made possible by the lockdown.
Scott Robertson says level 4 is tough but he's worried about about relaxing restrictions.
Isaac Kaiuha can't wait for the restrictions to ease.
He's finding it hard to cope on the wage subsidy but overall he's not too stressed about level 4.
