From Morning Report, 8:58 am on 16 September 2021

It's out of this world - the first ever space trip for private space-goers is expected to leave Earth today.

Four "space tourists" will free-fly for approximately three days on a SpaceX rocket - the first staffed only by non-astronauts.

Launching from Florida, the rocket will lift-off anytime from midday today - New Zealand time.
