People on the vaccination frontline in Auckland want all 250,000 of the government's bonus Pfizer doses to come to the city.
The extra doses from Spain have brought in to tide the country through until the next major shipment in October.
Health officials are keen to keep up the record high national rates of vaccination sparked by the outbreak but some say the focus should be on the only place still at level 4.
