Middlemore Hospital now has the results back for most of those at risk of contracting Covid-19 from a man who was in a shared room at the hospital.
Results from 149 people's day three tests have come back, and all are negative.
The hospital's chief medical officer Dr Pete Watson told Morning Report that shows the hospital moved quickly enough in identifying contacts and getting them to isolate to avoid further spread of the virus.
