A pod of seven Orca in the Pāuatahanui Inlet since Saturday have left.
It's a relief for conservationalists, who were concerned about their welfare.
Whale Rescue says the silence of lockdown may have drawn them, and the reappearance of people on the water yesterday may have led them to move on.
