MP for Waiariki Rawiri Waititi has launched a petition to stop the establishment of another MIQ hotel in Rotorua.
Waititi says the city has been unfairly targeted and he has the backing of local iwi to kick off the petition after Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins confirmed he is looking at opening a fourth facility there.
