Auckland health authorities are urgently recruiting more contact tracers as the system hits capacity just five days into the outbreak.
The tracers are vital to the Covid-19 response because they get people who've been in contact with the virus isolated before they can infect others.
Susie Ferguson spoke to Associate Health Minister Dr Ayesha Verrall who said they are recruiting more people to be a part of the contact tracing team to help with the daily calls to the thousands of people in self-isolation
