A 22nd case of Covid-19 in the community has been confirmed overnight.
That person is a young man who is receiving treatment in Waitakere Hospital. In the past few days, he had visited North Shore Hospital - that hospital is now diverting all new patients elsewhere and is expected to make a statement shortly.
Across Auckland the number of locations of interest has swelled to close to 150 by late last night. and the number of close contacts is now more than a thousand.
