Dozens of people have taken advantage of a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic in Waitara in North Taranaki set up to boost immunisation rates following the community outbreak of the Delta variant in Auckland.
Just over 13 percent of the general population aged 16-plus is fully vaccinated in Taranaki and the rate for Maori is just under 10 percent.
