An expert says the latest Covid-19 community outbreak could already comprise more than 100 people.
Michael Plank, a University of Canterbury Covid-19 mathematics professor, says the spread will certainly involve more than the Auckland man who has tested positive.
He says the crucial information is still to come - whether clear link to the border can be identified.
