Covid-19: Information on latest case

The case that's sparked the lockdown is a 58-year-old unvaccinated man from Devonport, on Auckland's North Shore. He and his wife have been transferred to the Jet Park quarantine facility. Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfiled told last night's news conference the couple travelled to the Coromandel for the weekend. Dr Bloomfield says it will take a nationwide commitment to stamp out the virus.
