New South Wales is clamping down on its stay-at-home orders, with new measures like a five-kilometre curb on travel from home, and increased penalities for violating the rules.
The entire state has joined Sydney in a lockdown, with 415 new cases and four deaths yesterday.
The Premier is hoping vaccines will slow the surge, as the federal government has secured one million Pfizer doses from Poland.
