Hendy: 60-70 percent Covid-19 vaccination rates needed

At least 60 to 70 percent of the entire New Zealand population would need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to ensure the risks of any home self-isolation plans are managed. That's the advice from Covid-19 modeller and Professor of Physics at Auckland University Shaun Hendy who says to reopen the border entirely, without restriction, the country would need to reach close to a 100 percent vaccination rate. He spoke to Susie Ferguson about the Government's border plans.
