Covid-19: Vaccinologist on best gap between injections

The recommended wait time between getting your first and second Covid-19 Pfizer shot could soon be extended.

Cabinet may discuss today whether to extend the current gap from three weeks to eight weeks.

There's emerging thought that the longer gap may provide more immunity.

So what are the benefits of delaying that second injection?

Auckland University vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris spoke to Susie Ferguson.
