A group of New Zealanders living overseas has launched a petition to reform the Managed Isolation and Quarantine booking system, increase capacity, and consider alternatives for returnees who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Grounded Kiwis' petition was launched earlier this week and has received about 3000 signatures so far.
The group says that Kiwis abroad feel they have been abandoned and that the MIQ system is broken.
Susie Ferguson spoke to Alexandra Birt, a Kiwi living in London who drafted the petition.
