Dates and locations for the three Bledisloe Cup rugby tests remain up in the air because of trans-Tasman Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Reports in Australia say the Wallabies are targeting a flight to New Zealand from their Gold Coast base this Friday, the last day of the government's exemption period before an eight-week travel pause begins.
Wallabies coach Dave Rennie says his players won't need to undergo a quarantine period upon arrival, as long as they maintain a heavy diet of testing in Australia.
Rennie also told media they are planning to play successive tests against the All Blacks in New Zealand, followed by a third test in Perth, which is a condensing of the current schedule.
Sydney Morning Herald rugby writer Tom Decent spoke to Corin Dann.
