Prime Minister believes trapped Kiwis will get home before full bubble closure

The Government says the trans-Tasman bubble won't reopen until it's "comfortable" community transmission in Australia is contained.

Quarantine free travel is being paused for at least eight weeks as the Covid-19 Delta variant continues to spread rapidly.

Australia is reporting 176 new cases of Covid-19, with the majority of infections in New South Wales.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told Morning Report she's committed to getting Kiwis stuck across the Tasman home before the requirement for mandatory isolation kicks in.
