Marine Transport Association accuses Transport Accident Investigation Commission of sleeping on the job

The maritime industry has come out swinging at the country's transport accident investigator, saying it no longer serves its purpose and the Government isn't getting value for money. The Marine Transport Association has written to Minister Michael Wood, accusing the Transport Accident Investigation Commission - or TAIC - of doing too little and sanitising the reports it does produce.
