The Blues don't have long to soak up their long-awaited Super Rugby success, with attention set to switch to the first All Blacks squad of the year announced tonight.
Coach Ian Foster will unveil up to 36 players for tests against Tonga and Fiji next month, with much interest surrounding the loose forward and midfield back selections - where injuries have hit hard.
Foster may yet be swayed by the performance of some the Blues players involved in Saturday's 23-15 final win over the Highlanders at Eden Park to snare the Super Rugby trans-Tasman crown and end an 18-year title drought.
