A Muslim community leader has spoken out about the growing online abuse from fellow New Zealanders.
Aliya Danzeisen from the Islamic Women's Council has been at this week's conference on terrorism.
She took part in a panel discussion called "What Hate Feels Like Now" and says while people are generally kinder to Muslims in public, online is a whole different story.
