New Zealand's pacific community is getting an apology for the Dawn Raids.
Jacinda Ardern yesterday acknowledged the racist policies of National and Labour governments which targeted overstayers by their Pacific ethnicity, despite Europeans making up the majority of illegal immigrants.
The Green Party is now calling for overstayer amnesty.
Its spokesperson for Pacific people Teanau Tuiono spoke to Susie Ferguson.
