NZ Law Society concerned about Samoa political crisis

From Morning Report, 6:41 am on 11 June 2021

The New Zealand Law Society is concerned about the deepening political crisis in Samoa.

It says recent attacks on the nation's judiciary are unacceptable and current legal and constitutional issues can only be solved through the rule of law.

Caretaker Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi is refusing to concede to FAST party leader Fiame Naomi Mata'afa.

RNZ Pacific's Adam Jacobson asked Law Society president Tiana Epati why she is so concerned.
