Retirement Commissioner recommends review of industry laws

The government is being urged to "lift the lid" on the retirement village industry, as the Retirement Commissioner calls for an urgent review of the laws to better protect the elderly.

Feedback on the proposal is overwhelmingly in favour, with only the village operators against the idea.
