With their IT systems still down, staff at Waikato hospitals are bracing themselves for busy weekend shifts.
Five hospitals in the region are going into their third day without functioning IT, following a major cyber attack early on Tuesday morning.
The outage is causing chaos on the ground, with nurses and doctors forced to scribble on notepads and break out the whiteboards.
