Covid-19: UK rules loosen to allow overseas holidays

British holiday makers have been jetting off to sunnier pastures as they take advantage of a lift in Covid-19 restrictions on Monday (UK time).

Travellers from England, Scotland and Wales can now fly to 12 countries on the government's green list, including Portugal and Iceland, without isolating on their return.

Those that choose to stay home are in for a treat too - hugging and socialising indoors can be enjoyed again.
