Rest home industry worried immigration reset will make staffing trouble worse

From Morning Report, 6:09 am on 18 May 2021

The rest home industry is worried the government's immigration reset will make the sector, which is already experiencing staff shortages, worse off.

The government wants to reduce the country's reliance on low-skilled migrant workers and instead target high-skilled workers and wealthy investors.
