Women's Rugby World Cup dates revealed

Rugby fans can start firming up their women's World Cup plans after the new dates for the tournament were unveiled on Wednesday morning.

The ninth women's Rugby World Cup will be played in Auckland and Whangarei from 8 October 2022, with the final set down for Eden Park on Saturday 12 November.

Two months ago, World Rugby announced it was postponing the tournament by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tournament organising committee chair Dame Julie Christie spoke to Corin Dann.
