Auditor-General wants wage subsidy scheme tightened up

From Morning Report, 7:41 am on 12 May 2021

The Auditor-General's Office wants the criteria for the wage subsidy scheme tightened up, amid concerns the Ministry of Social Development hasn't done enough to claw back money from businesses that wrongly received it.

David Press is the principal performance auditor who worked on the report.
