Covid-19 modeller supports bringing bubble back for NSW

Regular travel between New South Wales and New Zealand resumes this morning - a move that gets the thumbs up from a New Zealand.

Covid-19 modeller despite the restrictions still in place in Sydney.

A three-day travel pause finished at midnight, the government satisfied quarantine isn't required for arrivals even though Sydney authorities are still to uncover how a man became infected last week.

The man had no link with the border or managed quarantine - sparking fears of an outbreak in the city.

Restrictions have been extended in Greater Sydney for a further week.
