Police aware of emergency housing crime hotspots despite lacking specific data - Carmel Sepuloni

From Morning Report, 6:10 am on 7 May 2021

The Social Development Minister says police may not collect specific data on crime in and around emergency housing, but are aware of local hotspots.

Demand continues to grow, but so do serious concerns about safety, with some families living in motels rife with crime, and little support in sight.

Minister Carmel Sepuloni told Political Editor Jane Patterson ministers are taking action.
