OMV chief executive to step down after spying allegations in NZ

The chief executive of Austrian oil and gas company, OMV, Rainer Seele, is to step down in June next year.

The announcement comes as the company faces mounting pressure over actions taken by the company under his leadership.

Most recently Morning Report revealed that the company had employed private investigation company Thompson and Clarke to monitor green groups here including school children organizing climate protests.
