An Auckland school has excluded a boy with autism despite pleas from the Children's Commissioner to let him stay.
Judge Andrew Becroft stepped in after the thirteen-year-old boy asked for his help.
The teenager had been suspended following a fight.
Judge Becroft says the case is just one of many and families urgently need a body that can review schools' decisions.
