Fears health sector reform could delay mental health boost

There are fears a two billion dollar push to fix mental health services could be held up by the health sector revolution.

Data provided to RNZ reveals that over the last two years, national wait times for non-urgent mental health and addiction services have risen across all age groups.

The Mental Health Foundation says efforts to turn around that disturbing trend must not be disrupted by Labour's plan to end district health boards and centralise health.
