NZ has temporarily suspended travel from India after a surge of cases in managed isolation from the country.
India has passed 100,000 daily cases every day since Sunday, the only country to pass that mark along with the United States.
It reported 127,000 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, and in New Zealand 17 of the 23 cases in managed isolation announced on Thursday came from India.
