Indigenous voices not being heard - Climate activist

Maori and Pacifica people say their voice isnt being heard on climate change.  

A global strike of school students for action on climate takes place today. The event has its origins in the early lone protesting of the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg.

Luhama Taualupe is an indigenous activist.

She told Hamish Cardwell Pacific people having been raising the climate alarm for decades and it rankles that the West only takes notice when people like Thunberg raise the issue.
